John Parkinson Green ("Bud"), 63, of Buda, died suddenly Wednesday,
July 5, 2000. He was born in Winthrop, Massachusetts, on March 22, 1937. He graduated from West Point in 1961, and
entered the United States Air Force, where he served for 24 years. He is survived by his wife of 38 years,
Andrea; his daughters, Melanie Yenawine and Jennifer Green; two grandsons,
Evan and Ethan, and sisters, Judy Merrill and Diane Folsom, both of West Palm
Beach, Florida. He was preceded in death by his son, John Parkinson Green Jr.
He will be missed something awful. His remains were incorporated into a
reef ball by Eternal Reefs, and dedicated somewhere in the Florida Keys. A
wake in his honor was held.
