Vita: | I’m not unemployed, I’m a consultant. ;-) I’m a computer programmer and computer instructor and love it as much as any hobby. It’s nice that one can also earn a living playing with it. I quit my full-time job in late ’98 and am now having a ball studying new (for me) computer areas and doing part-time teaching as a contractor for folks like University of California, Sun Microsystem, etc. I’m now pursuing database programming in Visual Basic, C/C++, and Java. For recreation, I still do a lot of hiking, mostly in the U.S., in places like Colorado, California Sierras, and annually in the Grand Canyon. My mountaineering buddies and I also do climbing in places like the Alps, Peru, and Nepal. Maybe Kilimanjaro in Africa in a couple of years. My family is all in Colorado where I love to visit and play several times a year. |
