Vita: | Gracie and I are enjoying College Station very much. It is too far from the grandchildren, but since both our son and son-in-law
are Army officers, they are still on the move a lot and we can’t follow them around. The Chancellor position is interesting and challenging. The Texas A&M University System is composed of nine universities, a health science center, and eight state agricultural and engineering agencies located thoughout the state. So I travel quite a bit, but mostly within the state. Gracie and I are settling into the community and are involved in a good church near the campus. Gracie’s health is great. She has more than five years of clean reports since her breast cancer surgery in 1994. We are both grateful for God’s love, each other, the children, good friends, and this new challenge. |
