Obituaries:
Beloved husband,
father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Stacy Bragg, 74, went home to Jesus
on September 24, 2014.
A resident of Colorado Springs for 32 years, he was born in Exeter, NH, on
November 25, 1939 to Carl and Doris (Seavey) Bragg. He graduated from Hampton
Academy (1957), West Point Military Academy (1961), and Stanford University
(1969).
Stacy had a distinguished career as an Army Engineer, serving in Vietnam twice
and in Germany for eight years. He retired to work with the Navigators and
real estate management. A man of strong convictions, he spent hours daily
studying the Bible and enjoyed many years leading Bible studies and
disciplining young men.
Stacy loved being in the mountains and was an avid hiker, camper, and
snowboarder, but his greatest joy was spending time with, laughing with, and
loving his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Linda; children Elisabeth
(Andy), Andrew (Nicole), Jason (Shannon), David (Kristy), Timothy (Carli),
Hannah (Sean), and Sarah; grandchildren Caleb, Connor, Josiah, Rachel,
Abigail, Nathanael, Grace, Anna, Lydia, Daisy, William, Hadassah, Elsa,
Joanna, Phoebe, Elijah, Zachariah, Waverly, and Asher; sister, Susan Donnelly
(Hal); and many friends.
