Resigned Regular Army commission in March 1971. Retired (Colonel) from U.S. Army Reserve in September 1992. Commanded U.S. Army Reserve battalion, accepted 14 military project management assignments in various geographical locations to include California, Florida, Hawaii, and Texas, and served as the senior demobilization project officer for Sixth Army during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
Civilian professions (19712000) included entrepreneurial endeavors as a real estate broker/owner for Eagle Properties, and independent contractor relationships with Sta-Power
Industries, Bid Services of America, Able Resources, and National Write Your
Congressman. Served as Director, Tickets and Credentials for the 1996
Republican National Convention (thanks to Jim Nicholson). I
consider myself semi-retired. Interests continue to be golf, tennis, travel,
and helping to retain the Bill of Rights in their original context, and
supporting the election of all those who claim membership in the “vast
Right-Wing Conspiracy.” |
