Vita: | After leaving the Army in 1964, I followed a civil engineering career that eventually led me to become a university professor, mainly at Colorado State University. I also worked as a consulting engineer and had a tour in state government, in North Carolina, where I was Assistant Secretary for Natural Resources, an interesting job. As of 1998, I am still active, working as a department head and professor at CSU, and doing a good bit of research and consulting engineering work. I also have a Supreme Court appointment as River Master of the Pecos River, a part-time job which gives me some insight into the world of water law. Peggy and I married in Stuttgart in 1962 and have raised three girls. We are doing well in Fort Collins in 1998 and hope to see more of you. Also, I stepped down as department head in 2000 and am still a professor at Colorado State. |
