Class of 1961 60th Reunion - Part II

of those that have responded. Thanks to all that have done
so.

One of the purposes of the survey was to determine the preferred
dates for the reunion.
Here are the results.
Very clear that January is the preferred month – We will proceed
with that.
I will work the dates with the hotel and update when have a firm
date.

Covid-19 forced cancellation of our 60th
in 2021. It caused about two thirds of those that had indicated an interest in
coming to the makeup Reunion in January of this year. Because of all that we
vowed to have a 60th Reunion – Part II, when it was safe and
convenient to do so.

Lot’s to See and Do
Those that made the Reunion in January had a
great time. We had good company, outstanding hotel, and lots of fun activities
for all to enjoy. Therefore, the general plan for 60th Part II is
about the same as Part I. Five days, arriving Thursday and departing Tuesday.
Class dinners every night, hospitality room open 24 hours, Memorial Room
honoring all our deceased classmates, memorial service, class meeting.
Enjoyable group activities during the day, fun German dinner and oompah band at
our local gasthaus, sunset paddle boat cruise, swamp gator cruise, golf for our
duffers, etc, etc, etc. There is plenty to do in Central Florida!
 
Outstanding Hotel to Host Our Reunion
We have a hotel that is just right for our
purposes and takes good care of us. Not too big - not too small. Conveniently
located. Hospitality room, dining room, memorial room all adjacent to each
other. Helpful and pleasant staff. Excellent service. Easy access to main
roads and highways.
 
What You Need to Do – Sooner Rather Than
Later
In order to plan the reunion, we need rough
estimates of how many might attend, preferred dates, and thoughts on arrival and
departure dates. So the purposes of this survey are to collect those data. We
know this is preliminary info and may change. Put the best answer you have at
this point. If you would like to attend if you can, then answer yes. If there
is no chance whatsoever that you will attend, then answer no. Choose what dates
you like.
